Focus on the value delivered to the user or client Explain how your work improves user experience, functionality, or performance Use clear, concise language that non-technical clients can easily understand Avoid jargon and technical terms that may confuse or alienate clients Provide context and specificity Highlight the specific improvements or changes made Quantify results whenever possible (e.g., reduced loading time, increased conversions) Include links to relevant designs or staging environments Allow clients to easily view and test the accomplishments firsthand Ensure links are accessible and clearly labeled Alternatively, you can attach a loom video so they can view the progress directly Answer the key question: "What has been accomplished in this block, and why is it valuable?" Example: "Users can now sign in with their Google Account, which is now an easier option in the authentication process and improves user engagement."
🔄 When to submit an accomplishment
Accomplishments should always be submitted right after a block has been rendered. However, there are a few nuances that you need to be aware of.
The following are guiding principles on when are the right times and situations where you should submit an accomplishment for a project or product block:
In all work rendered for a Client project, you are required to submit accomplishments Send accomplishments only on blocks where effort was rendered on a project/product. Product blocks are not required to submit accomplishments by default, but this can vary. Make sure to sync with the product team if accomplishments are required by the product team. Make sure to sync with your Project Managers or Product Owners for anything that is unclear to you regarding the expectations of submitting accomplishments. 💪 How to submit an accomplishment
